2 Jan

So the NY Times listed 10 Ways to get the most out of Technology and I thought I would add my two cents in.

Get A Smartphone:

Staying connected all the time is addictive and leads to anti-social behavior.

And do not forget the must have apps – dropbox and instapaper are keep you connected and synced.

STOP USING INTERNET EXPLORER:

duh.

SET UP A FREE FILE-SHARING SERVICE

how can you live without dropbox?!

UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS TO THE CLOUD

Flickr, picasa, shutterfly, kodak gallery. this list is endless

GET MUSIC OFF YOUR COMPUTER

why put music on your computer in the first place when you can stream music from Grooveshark, We are hunted, The Sixty One, Blip.fm

BACK UP YOUR DATA

big fan of backupify – it backs up your accounts automatically. booyah.

you can also use dropbox as a “backup” by saving all files

okay now folks… for those of you that have never heard of some of these services.. just go on over to their websites and sign up. They are pretty self explanatory and easy to use.

Welcome to The Cloud.
