We all know there are many different sides to a story – but we also know a picture speaks 1000 words.
But have we ever considered how the photojournalists capture images? Those images influence our opinions on world events.
How many times have you heard a friend share a story that you were part of and think “this story bears no resemblance to my experience” ?
Ruben Salvadori created a very short clip on what he noticed when he viewed the photojournalists engaging with Palestinian kids and the photos that came out of those interactions.
This is just something to keep in mind every time you see an image in the news. There is always a back story on how the photojournalist captured the image – and sometimes what we see is not exactly the full picture.
